Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. Ripe dark berries and pungent flowers on the smoke- and spice-accented nose. Plush and expansive on the palate, offering sweet blueberry and cherry flavors and hints of smoked meat and licorice. The spicy note recurs on a long, smooth finish that features even tannins and a lingering mocha nuance.

Blessed with layers of black olives, blueberries and cassis, David and Florent Viale's 2019 Crozes Hermitage is a sleekly proportioned beauty. It's medium to full-bodied, boasts ample concentration, a rich, silky mouthfeel and a long, softly tannic finish. As Crozes go, it should be reasonably long-lived.
100% Marsanne. 20% aged in new oak for six months, the rest in tank. Tank sample. Tasted blind. Apple skin alongside waxy peachy notes. Ripe stone fruit on the palate with a broad richness showing some cinnamon and apple notes. (AC)
