Textbook apricot and peach aromas, but there's slate and stone to give minerality too. Thick-set and glossy. Low acid, pithy bite from the phenolic element. A blockbuster, just as it should be. (RH)

Showing less ripeness compared to the surrounding two vintages, the 2021 Condrieu still has plenty to offer. Offering vivid citrus and stone fruits alongside a tropical melon splash and blossom notes, it hits the palate with solid flavor concentration and lovely intensity. Round and elegant, it concludes with a bright finish.
There's not much to go around (Guigal lost 50% of their production due to frost in Condrieu), but the 2021 Condrieu is a beautiful wine offering lots of variety in its white peach, tart apricot, truffly earth, and floral aromas and flavors. Balanced, medium-bodied, and elegant, in short, it's a textbook and outstanding Condrieu. It should keep for 4-6 years, but there's no need to delay gratification.
Appealing nose – apricot. Ripe and rich palate with soft peach, dried apricot and a layered, unctuous finish. Still, has some lovely acidity underpinning it. Plenty of fruit on the textured finish. (AC)
