The 2020 Côte Rôtie Les Grandes Places is more masculine, with darker black fruits, scorched earth, and graphite notes that tend toward spicy, meaty nuances with time in the glass. Deep, powerful, and concentrated, it has a great mid-palate, serious structure, and a great finish. It's another incredible effort from this estate. Do your best to hide bottles for at least 4-5 years, and it should have two decades of longevity. This is utterly brilliant.
