Note di degustazione
One of the better values in the Chapoutier lineup, the 2020 Crozes Hermitage les Meysonniers boasts complex aromas of crushed stone, garrigue, blueberries and black cherries. It's medium to full-bodied, supple and easy in the mouth, with a long, silky finish. Slap a burger on the grill and go for it.

The 2020 Crozes Hermitage Les Meysonniers offers a touch more minerality as well as density. Ripe blackberries, black raspberries and some peppery, floral nuances give way to a medium-bodied, balanced, impressively textured 2020 with loads of character. I'd happily drink a glass any time over the coming 4-6 years. Compared to the Petite Ruche, this see a touch more oak and is brought up in 25% used barrels, with the balance in concrete.
Inky ruby color. Smoke-accented black and blue fruits, olive, cola and black pepper on the perfumed nose. Plush, sweet and open-knit, offering sappy blackberry, cherry and mocha flavors that are braced by a spine of juicy acidity. Shows very good clarity and finishes long and round, with supple tannins building steadily and adding gentle grip. Virtually all of this fruit is sourced from the limestone-dominated soils in the southern sector of the appellation.
100% Marsanne. Organic. Pear and apple notes. Palate ripe and round with good mid-palate fruit. Clean, zesty finish. (JL)
