Note di degustazione
Opaque ruby. Fresh, spice-accented black and blue fruits, candied flowers and suggestions of olive and sandalwood on the perfumed nose. Broad and fleshy on the palate, offering appealingly sweet blueberry, black raspberry and baking spice flavors and a hint of botanical herbs. Finishes impressively long and vibrant, with resonating spiciness and discreet tannic grip.

Lots of ripe black cherry and blackberry fruits, spicy incense, and peppery notes emerge from the 2019 Crozes-Hermitage Le Rouvre, a medium to full-bodied, mouth-filling, impressively balanced Crozes from a great estate. I love its balance as well as the quality of the tannins, and this has a good decade of longevity ahead of it.
Blackberries, plums and a touch of oak appear on the nose of the 2019 Crozes Hermitage le Rouvre. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's richly tannic yet fully ripe, with layers of rich, velvety tannins unfolding through the long, licorice-tinged finish.
Tasted blind. Pepper and oak on the nose. Medium bodied showing prune and dark fruits, a note of tobacco spice and robust tannins. Shows some good fruit concentration but the hefty tannins need lots of time to knit. (AC)
