2020 Napa Valley Chardonnay

The very limited 2020 Chardonnay Coombsville Estate was bottled earlier this year. For this wine, portions are removed from some of the winery's best barrels, then combined in another barrel for extended aging and bottled only in magnums. It's custardy, marked by notes of toasted hazelnut and lemon, but full-bodied and generous without being heavy. Fleshy but not fat, it's a gorgeous expression of Chardonnay, with good length and a fine, silky feel on the finish.
