2021 Muse de Miraval

A very pale, copper-tinged rosé, the 2021 Cotes de Provence Rose Muse de Miraval is bottled only in magnums. A blend of Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino), aged mostly in concrete—a small portion is fermented and aged in demi-muids—it epitomizes the newest of the New Wave Provence rosés, with an emphasis on finesse, freshness and elegance. Aromas of crushed stone, white peach, melon and citrus lead the way on the nose, while the refined, medium-bodied palate features a gently silky texture, ample fruity intensity and impressive length on the finish.
