The 2020 Goldtröpfchen GG shows a very delicate and refined nose. Round, lush and crystalline on the palate, this is a very mineral, intense and persistently salty Goldtröpfchen with remarkable finesse and fine grip. Good intensity and length. Promising. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine from AP in July 2022.

Crystal clear. Restrained nose. More transparent and filigree than some of its stablemates. Composed and firm with a very dry finish and lots of ingredients waiting to knit together. Almost austere on the finish, which is not, at the moment, one of the longest. A little edgy and unsettled for now. Wait. (JR)
