Vivid red. Sexy, smoke- and spice-accented aromas of candied red berries, vanilla and rose pastille. Juicy and expansive, offering vibrant raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of star anise. Very fresh, with excellent finishing clarity and sneaky tannins. There's "a lot of Gap's Crown" fruit in here, according to Browne.
