NV La Bota de Manzanilla 111 Florpower MMXVIII

The first fortified wine, technically a sherry, in this line-up. Single vineyard, Miraflores. The base wine was Florpower 2018 (La Bota 97), fortified to make it a manzanilla. So it’s basically the same wine as Florpower. Bottled 2022 after three years under flor. Old vines again. No solera. Quite a rich nose! Toast and green notes and great acidity. Really exciting wine – an expression of a single vintage and a single vineyard. (JR)
