Tales of The Macallan Volume 1 is a special 71-year-old single malt produced in honour of Captain John Grant – the distillery’s first custodian. The liquid, distilled in 1950 and bottled in 2021, is presented in an exquisite Lalique decanter that is concealed within an 800-page almanac which tells Captain Grant’s story and is beautifully illustrated by Andrew Davidson. Only 350 decanters of this astonishingly rare whisky were produced.
