NV The Last Drop, 20-40yo Japanese Blended Malt Whisky (60%)

Composed of Hanyu and other Japanese malts, the nose is characterized by the sweet and spicy notes of mizunara oak, with perfumed candles, fragrant florals, apricot syrup, cardamom, pepper, marzipan fruits, jellied cherry, and black currant. Sweet tropical fruits and mizunara oak notes to taste, but the 60% ABV makes this hard to handle. Water encourages more developed flavors of pineapple, creamed coconut, vanilla, and fresh apricot.
