This is big, juicy, powerful Grand Cru Burgundy with plenty of concentration. The mid-palate has impressive focus and the structural tannins, so typical of Clos Vougeot, are nicely supple. True to the style of the vintage, this has plenty of juicy fruit matched by an excellent level of balancing acidity that keeps the wine fresh.
