Matured in refill American oak casks and then finished in fresh bourbon casks, the nose has salted caramel, sea spray, cracked black peppercorn, toffee, heather honey, burlap, pear, and hints of apple. A superb mouth feel that lets that Campbeltown saltiness shine against the rich flavors of creamy vanilla, honey, red apple, ground ginger, citrus peel oils, and a hint of cacao. Lengthy finish of ginger, spice, and vanilla pod.
