2019 Wintricher Ohligsberg Riesling Trocken GW

The 2019 Wintricher Ohligsberg Riesling GW is clear, refined and flinty on the elegant and crunchy slate nose with delicate Riesling and mirabelle aromas that come out soon after a first irritation of champignon notes. Full-bodied, intense and slightly bitter on the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and all too powerful Riesling bottled with five to six grams of residual sugar. Not as precise as it should be. Picked at 100° Oechsle yet entirely healthy, as Stefan Steinmetz assures. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
