2019 Schieferterrassen Beerenauslese 02 20

The 2019 Schieferterrassen Beerenauslese is dense and fresh, with clear raisin, grapefruit and candied lemon zest aromas on the nose. Concentrated, sweet and piquant as well as salty and elegant on the palate, this is a very delicate and finessed BA with crystalline acidity and finely mineral grip on the finish. Needs one or, even better, two decades to start showing its true class. Fabulous in its piquant and vital acidity. Gorgeous BA yet still far to sweet and young for my palate. In any case, you can't be disappointed by this treasure. Tasted in October 2020.
