AP number 05 20. Intense nose with hints of fresh almonds. High extract. Very juicy with notes of currant leaves. Some green-fruit flavours and extremely juicy. No aggressive spontaneous-fermentation notes. Clean, crisp finish. Very neat and pleasing. Perfect Saar ambassador. (JR)

Lovely, peachy nose with hints of mint, blossoms and lemon zest. At once juicy and crisp on the palate, this is an easy Kabinett wine to enjoy and is screaming out for Thai red curry! Long, juicy and refreshing finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair’n Green certification. Drink or hold.
Lauer's 2019 Kupp Kabinett Fass 5 (Versteigerung), which will be auctioned, is precise and floral on the clear, reductive, stony and herbal-scented nose. On the palate, this is a light, somewhat watery, typical Kabinett with a lot of charm, but it doesn't have that exciting tension and complexity offered by the finest Saar Kabinett Rieslings. The finish, however, is stimulatingly salty, crisp and fresh. Tasted in April 2020.
