Bollinger’s Special Cuvée always has wonderfully rich aromatics of nougat, toasted hazelnut, patisserie, honeyed yellow apple and vanilla. The palate is rich and broad but never short of tension. The lovely backbone of acidity is well integrated with apricot, peach tart flavours and a touch of toasty oak. It is vibrant on the palate but comfortably round. Rich but never excessive. This is the epitome of the Bollinger style. Ready to drink.
