The 2018 Sancerre Rouge is a very pretty, mid-weight wine that can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring. Crushed flowers, spice, mint and red/purplish berry fruit are all finely knit. Silky tannins give the 2018 quite a bit of immediacy and overall appeal.
