Inky ruby. Fresh blackcurrant, cherry and violet aromas are complicated by suggestions of cracked pepper, smoky bacon, olive and succulent licorice. Offers vibrant, appealingly sweet black/blue fruit flavors that show very good depth and take a spicy note with air. A nervy mineral element adds lift and cut to the impressively long, floral-dominated finish, which features snaky tannins and resonating florality.
