Brilliant purple. An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes black and blue fruit preserves, spicecake, potpourri and incense. Densely packed and impressively energetic on the palate, offering intense blueberry, cassis, cherry liqueur and floral pastille flavors that open up steadily on the back half. The floral and spice notes carry emphatically through the impressively long, youthfully tannic finish, which leaves a smoky mineral flourish behind.

Offers palate-staining black/blue fruit, licorice and bitter chocolate flavors that pick up notes of candied flowers and smoky minerals as the wine stretches out.
