Tasted blind. Mid straw colour and not quite as star bright as the previous wine in this pair (Cervaro della Sala 2018). Another wine without much obvious aroma initially but then it opened out to honeysuckle and toast. Interesting saline note on the finish. Seems quite a bit older, and somehow heavier, than the previous wine. A substantial wine with some maturity. Real grip and texture on the palate, and a whisper of oak. (JR)
