2016 Cotes du Jura Les Champs Rouge

The 2016 Chardonnay Les Champs Rouges has cut and tension, but it's a little angular at the moment. The back label has some information that differs from what I got in previous vintages, and it matured in a mixture of 228-liter barriques and some 600-liter demi-muids. It has a mixture of yellow and white fruit, with some citrus thrown in. It has the limestone texture on the palate and not much varietal character, as it's more about the soil. It should polish its edges with a little more time in bottle.
