Rich and smooth and rather haunting. Lots to like. A bit sweet rather than energising but with lots of layers too. The finish is not the most appetising though. (JR)

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2010 Tout Pres Pinot Noir gives notes of black cherries, pomegranate, cloves, anise and cinnamon stick with touches of Mediterranean herbs, violets and chocolate. Medium-bodied, it is exquisitely structured with a medium level of very finely grain tannins, refreshing acidity, a great concentration of youthful, taut fruit, and a long, earthy, savory finish.
