The 2018 Left Field Albarino features bold briny aromas, floral notes and hints of green apples. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with a slightly creamy texture and a long, crisp finish that echoes with notes of white pepper and fresh seaweed. Nicely done.

Fleshy body, grassy nose, steely acid and a touch of salinity. Not so peachy as the best Rias Baixas examples, but I do think the varietal character is genuine here. (RH)
