A rich and weighty style with ripe fruits and toasty oak. Nicely defined stone fruit – this is quite a big style and needs time to settle down and integrate. (AC)

Bright yellow. Very ripe apricot and peach aromas are lifted by a floral element and some sexy oak. Tactile, dry and fully ripe, with its stone fruit and floral flavors energized by harmonious acidity. Broad, sophisticated Chardonnay with a lovely savory umami quality and captivating floral lift. Winemaker Alejandro Vigil puts 20% Chardonnay from older vintages in the bottom of each 500-liter barrel and ages this wine under a layer of flor , which I find partly masks the wine's acidity, at least in the early going. Today I don't find the thrust for an even higher score.
A tight and beautiful white with a dense palate of beautiful, ripe lemons and apples. Layered and refined with phenolic tension. Complex yeast and hints of oak and flor. Full body. Great length. 80 per cent flor-growth in barrel. Drink now.
