Saturated ruby-red. Spectacularly ripe aromas of black cherry, graphite minerality, licorice and bitter chocolate remain just this side of port-like. Thick, seamless flavors of black fruits, minerals and licorice are framed and intensified by harmonious, round acidity. Perhaps most impressive today on the Roto Rooter of a finish, which sweeps aside everything in its path. The fullest and blackest of these high-end Viña Cobos bottlings; in a remarkably mouthfilling and even slightly extreme style but impossible to fault. And fatter and sweeter than the Chañares Estate Malbec, and a bit sexier today. (14.4% alcohol)

A beautiful and balanced red with blueberry, blackberry, floral and just hints of spice. Medium body, ultra fine taninins and a polished finish. More elegant style from the vintage. Beautiful now.
