2015 Cote Rotie Carmina

Opaque ruby. Bright and energetic on the nose, displaying spice-accented red and dark berry aromas and hints of olive and cola. Appealingly sweet and light on its feet, offering intense black raspberry and cherry liqueur flavors that show excellent clarity and lift. The spicy aspect gains intensity with air and carries through the impressively long, sappy finish, which features fine-grained tannins and a touch of candied violet.
