Light vivid orange. Mineral- and spice-accented red berry and pit fruit scents are complemented by a suave floral overtone. Silky and focused on the palate, offering fresh strawberry, tangerine and white peach flavors that deepen and become sweeter with air. Shows very good delineation and persistence on the finish, which leaves an echoing pit fruit note behind.

Hereâs a very serious rosé indeed that shows fresh nectarines, newly picked peaches, tulips, rose petals, citrus and a lovely kick of vanilla and spices. Full-bodied and layered, framing a whole array of spicy but vibrant stone fruit. Oily, juicy and phenolic but tangy on the long finish. Stunning and amazing value. Drink now.
Partially oaked. I am assured it has come on since I first tasted it last April. It doesn't seem to have developed much nose. Rather sweet on the front palate. More substance than Whispering Angel. But still sweet and sour like its cheaper counterpart. I'm afraid I don't think this is particularly exciting. Though there is a little grip on the end. (JR)
