Note di degustazione
The Grenache-dominated 2012 Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu is a classic, Provencal effort that comes from the valley floor located between Vacqueyras and Cairanne. It has plenty of peppery herbs, bloody meat, truffle and dark fruits, as well as a medium-bodied, balanced and nicely put-together feel on the palate. While it has the forward, supple nature of the vintage, it also has solid underlying structure and excellent richness. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years.

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan. Dark, ripe black cherry fruits but not the freshest. Quite severe tannins on the end at the moment. (JR)
