Another fab release from this estate, the inky colored 2012 Crozes Hermitage les Trois Chênes exhibits abundant graphite, pencil shavings, charcoal and currant fruit. Medium to full-bodied, voluptuous and decadent, it has outstanding length and is already hard to resist. Made from 100% Syrah and brought up in a combination of tronconique tanks, demi-muid and barrels (some new), it’s a smoking Crozes Hermitage to drink over the coming 5-6 years.
