2010 Vik Millahue Valley

This is the first vintage of this wine. A juicy and rich red with lots of cherry, berry and cedar aromas and flavors. Lots of new wood still but it shows a depth of fruit and fine tannins. Medium-bodied. Slightly drying at the end from the new wood. Third year of the vines. 56% cabernet sauvignon, 3% syrah, 9% cabernet franc, 4% merlot, and 32% carmenere. 100% new oak. 3,000 cases made. Drink now.
