100% new oak. Barrel sample. Bags of both fruit and oak-spice sweetness on nose. With the perfume of the sweetest and ripest of cherries straight off the tree. On the palate there’s an incredibly gentle richness and an unassuming but perfumed intensity. Stunning length and already a charmer. I just don’t think you need to wait 10 years for this though it clearly has a long life ahead. (JH)
