Fig, strawberry, pear and pink grapefruit deliver a colorfully fruity nose and an effusively fruity palate. There is the merest, alluring hint of white truffle. Succulence and a satiny texture combine with sheer ripeness of fruit as well as a glaze of quince jelly for an overwhelmingly rich midpalate impression. But the sensationally sustained finish calls on a reserve of citrus juices to deliver vibrancy, brightness and outright refreshment that one would never have imagined possible from a botrytis-inflected wine of such richness.

A fireworks display of aromas and acidity that lights up the night sky. The best thing about this wine isn\'t the almost-supernatural intensity but rather the perfect balance at the breathtakingly long finish. Drink or hold. Very limited production due to the frost damage.
