Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2017-2040, David Schildknecht, Vinous, Jun 2017

Prominent scents of honeysuckle and heliotrope accompany hints of quince and apple jellies, which then assume a subtly caramelized tone on a palate of rich creaminess that nevertheless boasts fresh apple juiciness and utmost transparency to wet stone, mineral salts and haunting floral perfume. The long, mouthwatering finish both soothes and stimulates.

Punteggio 94/100 · James Suckling, May 2017

Herbal and slightly earthy on the nose. In the J.J. context, this is a slightly robust wine and already rather open, but it\'s full of fruit, completely individual and the mineral finish is very long. Drink anytime during the next quarter of a century.

Punteggio 93/100 · Da bere 2022-2040, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017

The 2015 Zeltlinger Sonnenuhr Auslese is very clear and smoky on the nose. This Riesling is intense and lush on the palate, with good concentration and mineral piquancy. This is dense, firmly structured and age-worthy Auslese that needs some years to relax its tight structure and gain more transparency and finesse.
