2015 Cotes du Jura les Grandes Teppes Vieilles Vignes

Always the more complete among Ganevat's Chardonnays, the 2015 Les Grands Teppes Vieilles Vignes is close to 15% alcohol in this excellent vintage, but again, the alcohol and ripeness are not noticeable and are perfectly balanced by great freshness in the form of very low pH. It has a captivating, smoky and leesy nose, with floral notes and hints of pollen, quite austere in the palate with a chalky texture and a completely dry finish. This will be the last of the whites to be bottled. This is a monumental Jura Chardonnay that should age very nicely and for a long time in bottle.
