Note di degustazione
(made from vines that reportedly date as far back as 1858): Brilliant ruby-red. Heady, mineral- and spice-accented raspberry liqueur and floral scents pick up a smoky nuance with air. Plush and broad on entry, then more taut in the middle, offering appealing sweet red fruit and floral pastille flavors and a suggestion of spicecake. In an ample, lush, emphatically fruity style but in no way lacking for energy. Supple tannins add shape to the rather powerful finish.

Medium ruby-purple in color the 2013 Stonegarden Grenache has a youthful nose of kirsch, red currants and cranberries with hints of roses, anise, Ceylon tea, bay leaves and earth. Full-bodied with a taut backbone of finely grained tannins and seamless acidity, the palate is concentrated, multi-layered and seductive with fruit that just goes on and on. The wine is simply gorgeous - kudos!
