2017 The Fugazi Grenache

Peppery-spicy-stemmy notes pervade the aromas of the 2017 The Fugazi Vineyard Grenache, which comes from the Blewitt subregion of McLaren Vale. It spent a whopping 80 days on the skins, but it remains a light ruby hue and doesn't come across as being heavily extracted. If anything, it's the opposite, with delicate, silky tannin tendrils that seem to shrink from contact.
