Scorched coffee notes, firm tannins and crisp acidity define the 2015 Churton Vineyard Clod Block Pinot Noir. It's a wine that clearly still needs time to gather itself, the question is how it will emerge once it reaches the other side of its current funk. There looks to be ample black cherry fruit, a gentle earthiness and ample concentration in this medium-bodied wine, so I'm optimistic.
