Pale yellow. An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes mineral-accented pear, orange zest and jasmine scents, along with a deeper suggestion of honey. Energetic, sharply focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors stain the palate while showing zero fat. A sexy floral nuance emerges steadily as the wine opens up, as do hints of saffron and toasted brioche. Impressively concentrated yet nervy; the long, focused finish features lingering floral and mineral notes.

The 2015 Chardonnay Sigrid conjures notions of peaches, pink grapefruit and green guava with hints of toasted almonds, chalk dust, coriander seed and baker's yeast. Medium-bodied with a racy backbone cutting through the silken texture, it delivers a wonderful intensity of citrus, tropical and savory flavors, finishing long and layered.
