2015 Vacqueyras Un Sang Blanc

Light bright yellow. Mineral-tinged citrus and pit fruit scents show very good clarity and pick up hints of honey and chamomile with air. Chewy and taut on entry and then more fleshy in the middle, offering juicy peach and Meyer lemon flavors and a touch of fennel. The mineral quality comes back steadily on a long, sappy finish that leaves a hint of bitter lemon pith behind.
