Note di degustazione
Lurid ruby-red. Energetic cherry and raspberry aromas and flavors, complicated by a subtle violet nuance. Fresh and energetic in style, carrying no excess fat and featuring a spicy nuance that sneaks up on the back half. Finishes on a repeating red fruit note, with solid, spicy punch and floral-driven persistence.

The 2017 Beaujolais-Villages Vieilles Vignes is superb, bursting from the glass with inviting aromas of cherries, plums and warm spices. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, satiny and sapid, with terrific depth and concentration, its lavish core of juicy fruit complemented by considerable savory nuance—proof, if any were needed, that Lapalu is one of the finest exponents of this underrated appellation.
