Notes of red berries and cherries mingle with exotic spices, raw cocoa and sweet soil tones to introduce Egly's 2015 Coteaux Champenois Ambonnay Rouge Cuvée des Grands Côtés Vieilles Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated wine that's one of the most serious, muscular Coteaux that I've tasted at this address. Seamless and complete, it will age especially well.
