Note di degustazione
Jean-Marc Burgaud says by way of introduction: ‘on va retomber dans le plaisir’ with this wine. Bottled early April 2017. Seductive fruit with bright-red notes and a richer, deeper quality that suggests generosity. Scented but not overly light, a hint of wild herbs but no greenness. Red cherry. Super-silky and super-fresh. Fruity, succulent and lithe. Gentle and smooth in texture but so much pleasure and the perfect vintage. Great finesse. A beauty. (JH)

Vivid magenta. Vibrant red berry and spicecake scents are complemented by suggestions of underbrush and candied lavender. Sappy and focused on the palate, offering appealingly sweet cherry and raspberry flavors that turn darker and deeper on the back half. Silky tannins sneak in on a very long, spice-tinged finish that leaves a note of candied flowers behind. This wine is showing cru -level complexity and persistence.
Light cherry red. A light herbal stemmy note. Tight, stemmy and fresh, mouth-watering and bone dry. Almost austere but just on the refreshing end of the spectrum, pure and rocky. (JH)
