2015 Vouvray Clos Naudin Moelleux Goutte d'Or

The 2015 is only the fourth vintage of this cuvée to be produced, following the legendary 1947, 1990 and 2011. The 2015 Vouvray Goutte d'Or unfurls from the glass with a complex, layered bouquet of quince, ripe pear, herbs, ivy, wild strawberries and spices. Incredibly dense and concentrated without ever feeling heavy, it is anchored by a fleshy core of fruit and a refined, elegant mid-palate lifted by bright acidity. The finish is nothing short of extraordinary—ethereal, lingering and seemingly weightless.
