Real complexity on the nose. Hints of roasted lemons, apple pie and a touch of spice. Very serious on the palate. Weighty and impressive with a tremendous weight and depth rare in whites at this level. Refreshing acidity, the hallmark of the excellent 2014 vintage, keeps the fruit and richer notes of caramel and melted butter in balance and leads through to a long elegant finish. As good as you’ll find at this level. Outstanding.
