The 2013 Hütte Riesling Kabinett starts with a very clear, elegant and delicately aromatic and lovely flinty nose. Bottled with 7.5% alcohol this is a full-flavored, sappy and stimulating Kabinett with a lovely salty finish and piquant aftertaste. It's already very accessible and demonstrates the great talent of Max von Kunow for this specific German wine category.

Smells incredibly creamy, though it doesn't taste creamy. Taut and fresh with a hint of boiled-sweet sweetness on the finish. Slightly cloying sweetness on the aftertaste. (JH)
