Note di degustazione
Opaque ruby. Heady cherry and blueberry scents are complemented by smoky mineral, olive, vanilla and spice nuances. Sweet black currant and cherry-vanilla flavors show a suave blend of power and finesse, while a peppery flourish adds spicy cut. Shows impressive energy and focus on the gently tannic finish, which leaves behind notes of candied flowers and mocha.

Notes of black raspberries, toasted spice, candied violets and hints of flowers all emerge from Yves 2014 Saint Joseph les Serines (18 months in 40% new oak), which has medium-bodied richness and depth, beautifully pure fruit and present, ripe tannin. This is a classy, elegant St Joseph that will have a decade of longevity.
(aged for 20 months in 60% new oak): Bright violet. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe blueberry, cherry cola and licorice, while a smoky mineral accent builds in the glass. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering intense dark fruit liqueur and floral pastille flavors brightened by juicy acidity and a spicy nuance. Clings with superb tenacity on the subtly tannic finish, leaving behind sweet black and blue fruit notes.
