2015 Piesporter Goldtropchen Spatlese

Picked from the grand cru plot but roughly 14 days before the dry wine, the 2015 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling Spätlese is clear and bright on the nose but much more exciting on the palate where the creamy texture indicates a hint of botrytis. However, this lush and piquant Spätlese is lifted by the fine acidity and stimulating minerality. Bottled with 7% alcohol, 10.5 grams of total acidity and 81.6 grams of residual sugar.
