The 2014 Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu is another elegant, savory effort that has tons of Provençal character. Garrigue, spice, dried cherries and earth all emerge from this medium-bodied effort that’s ideal for drinking over the coming 4-6 years.

Deep red. Spicy red fruits and candied flowers on the incisive nose and in the mouth. Juicy and light on its feet, showing Pinot-like texture and picking up a hint of white pepper in the glass. Finishes with no obvious tannins and good persistence, leaving a hint of lavender behind.
Still in barrel, the 2014 Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu is medium-bodied, elegant and balanced with complex notes of blackberries, pepper, potpourri and dried spices. It should drink well on release and evolve for 4-5 years.
